Ugly Gift Exchange
Second Chance Silent Auction
From time of arrival and during the meal, there will be a "second chance" silent auction of some lovely donations from the November Annual Dinner auction. So, bring your checkbook or credit card and grab some of the bargains. Purchases will be tax-deductible and all proceeds will go to our new Foundation for charitable distribution.
After the meal, we will hold our Ugly Gift Exchange for comic relief and entertainment. The gift exchange was a blast last year, so don’t miss it!
Singles and couples are requested to bring one item they received during the holiday season (or any time throughout the year) that caused them to blurt out “Oh My Gosh” when opened! Of course, any item that you would happily pass on works too. Please bring that item WRAPPED and unlabeled. You will be given the opportunity to foist it off on someone else who may love it! After all, one person’s trash is another’s treasure!
The way this works: You will pick one wrapped gift and open it. You can keep it or acquire someone else’s acquired “treasure” as each gift can be stolen up to 2 times. So, it is a win/win for all with some good laughs along the way.
